Gold price drops by Rs500 per tola in Pakistan

  • International rate of gold declines by $5 to reach $4,375 per ounce

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Saturday, in line with losses in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs459,936 after a decline of Rs500 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs394,320 after it fell by Rs429, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Thursday, gold price per tola reached Rs460,436 after a loss of Rs3,500 during the day.

The international gold rate declined by $5 to $4,375 per ounce (with a $20 premium).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs13 to reach Rs6,949 per tola.
