The federal government on Friday increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for July 25 under its revised daily petroleum pricing mechanism.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been increased by Rs3.66 per litre to Rs335.18 from Rs331.52 per litre.
Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs4.80 per litre to Rs383.46 from Rs378.66 per litre.
The revised ex-depot prices of petroleum products for Saturday, July 25.
The latest increase comes as Pakistan continues to review petroleum prices on a daily basis to reflect fluctuations in international oil markets under the revised pricing framework introduced by the government.
