Lucky Investments launches Shariah-compliant dividend yield fund
KARACHI: Lucky Investments Limited has launched the Lucky Islamic Dividend Yield Fund (LIDYF), an open-end Shariah-compliant equity fund aimed at providing investors with Halal returns through investments in dividend-paying Shariah-compliant listed companies.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, the fund has been designed to generate competitive dividend income while offering the potential for long-term capital appreciation through professionally managed investments in listed equities.
The company said the fund will primarily invest in high dividend-yielding Shariah-compliant companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), with the objective of delivering regular income alongside long-term wealth creation under a disciplined investment strategy.
Lucky Investments said the launch expands its range of Islamic investment products, which now includes Shariah-compliant mutual funds and pension funds catering to liquidity management, fixed-income investments, regular income, equity growth, energy sector exposure, retirement planning and dividend-focused investing.
Commenting on the launch, Chief Executive Officer of Lucky Investments Limited, Mohammad Shoaib, said the new fund reflects the company’s commitment to offering professionally managed Shariah-compliant investment solutions.
He said dividend-paying equities have historically played an important role in long-term wealth creation, and the fund is intended to enable investors to seek regular Halal income along with capital appreciation through investments in quality businesses.
