Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited (WEPL), formerly Shell Pakistan Limited, a leading Saudi-based energy company, announced on Tuesday the appointment of the chairperson of the board and Chief Executive Officer.

The listed company disclosed the development in its notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

“The Board of Directors has re-appointed Ghassan Al Almoudi as the Chairperson of the Board, for a term of three (03) years with effect from June 16, 2026,” the bourse was informed.

Moreover, the Board of Directors also re-appointed Zubair Shaikh as Chief Executive Officer of the Company for a term of three years.

The company reported a profit after tax of Rs2.16 billion, compared with Rs873 million in first quarter of 2026, a growth of 148 percent.

Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited is a publicly listed company incorporated in Pakistan. The company is majority-owned by Wafi Energy Holding Limited, based out of Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
