Palm rises on firmer rival oils, weaker crude oil caps gains

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures climbed for a second straight session on Tuesday, tracking firmer rival edible oils, though weaker crude oil prices limited the gains.

The benchmark palm oil contract for July delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained 39 ringgit, or 0.87%, to 4,537 ringgit ($1,148.61) a metric ton in early trade.
