ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), where key development priorities were reviewed.

The ECNEC approved major infrastructure and social sector projects worth over PKR 280 billion. The schemes, which include highways, healthcare, and urban development, are aimed at strengthening connectivity, expanding public services, and supporting growth.

The DPM/FM underscored the government’s continued focus on sustainable growth, efficient service delivery, and long-term economic development.

The meeting was attended by Minister Finance & Revenue, Minister Planning Development & Special Initiatives, Minister National Health Services & Regulations, Provincial Advisor of KP on Finance and Secretary Planning, Health Services & Regulations and Communication and relevant senior officers from concerned departments.
