According to the Topline Sales Desk, the KSE-100 Index settled in red as persistent volatility kept investors cautious throughout the day. The benchmark moved within a broad range, mirroring fragile participation and sharp intraday swings. Overall sentiment remained subdued amid escalating geopolitical tensions, which weighed on global risk appetite. Regional Asian markets largely traded in negative territory, and the local bourse mirrored this broader risk-off environment.

On the other hand, the Exploration and Production (E&P) sector outperformed the broader market as international oil prices moved higher in response to ongoing geopolitical conflict, lending support to select energy stocks.
