LAHORE: The Supreme Court (SC) on Saturday disposed of a suo motu notice over delay in reappointment of an accountability court judge, who is hearing references filed the National Accountability Bureau against the Sharif family, after it was informed that the government had issued a notification in that regard.

The two-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, heard the matter at the Supreme Court Lahore Registry. A federal law officer submitted a copy of the notification showing reappointment of Muhammad Bashir as judge accountability court, Islamabad.
