Lahore Qalandars confirm Mustafizur Rahman as direct signing for PSL 11
- Qalandars owner Sameen Rana says Mustafizur remained an integral part of the team’s identity
Defending champions Lahore Qalandars on Thursday announced the direct signing of Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman for the upcoming 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The left-arm pacer, who previously represented the Qalandars in the 2016 and 2018 editions, has been signed for PKR 6.44 crore, marking his return to the franchise ahead of the PSL 11 auction.
Announcing the development, Lahore Qalandars owner Sameen Rana said Mustafizur remained an integral part of the team’s identity.
“Once a Qalandar, always a Qalandar. Mustafizur is not just a player; he’s a brother and a key part of our family who never really left,” Rana said. “We are delighted to welcome him back. His experience and skill set will be invaluable as we look to defend our title in PSL 11.”
