HSD price raised, petrol’s unchanged

ISLAMABAD: Federal government on Saturday announced to increase the price of high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 11.30 per litre effective from Feb 1 to 15, 2026.

In fortnightly review of petroleum products’ prices, the Petroleum Division announced to keep the price of petrol unchanged at Rs 253.17 per litre.

According to the notification, the price of high-speed diesel now stands at Rs268.38 per litre, up from Rs257.08 per litre.

In the previous review of petroleum products prices on January 15, the government had raised petroleum levy by Rs 4.65 per litre on petrol and 80 paisa per litre on HSD.

The price review was taken in the light of recommendations of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), worked out on the basis of fluctuation in global oil prices, exchange rate and budgeted taxes targets of current fiscal year.
