ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet and address the country’s leading exporters and business leaders today (Friday) to discuss the state of the economy and the government’s policy measures.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that the prime minister would outline his vision for strengthening industry, trade and exports, while also presenting a future roadmap aimed at moving the economy from stabilisation towards sustained growth.
During the event, Sharif will apprise the business community on steps taken by the government to steer the country out of default and restore macroeconomic stability after coming into power in 2024.

He will also highlight reforms, fiscal discipline and measures aimed at rebuilding the confidence of industrialists and investors.
The prime minister will discuss initiatives to ease investment, improve business facilitation and create a more enabling environment for exporters.
Awards will also be presented to exporters who have made significant contributions to the national economy. The meeting comes amid the government’s efforts to boost exports, attract investment and place the economy on a durable growth path.
