Cement manufacturers: FY25 Federal Excise Duty collection rises 101.8% YoY: FBR
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has reported an increase of 101.8 percent in collection of Federal Excise Duty (FED) from cement manufacturers during 2024-25 when compared with 2023-24.
According to the FBR’s latest data of the FED during 2024-25, the collection of the FED from Inland Air Travel (domestic air travel) witnessed an increase of 109.6 percent during this period.
The FBR has shown an increase of 103.2 percent in collection of FED from Travel by Air (including international) during 2024-25 against same period of 2023-24.
The FED collection from the Motor Cars witnessed an increase of 63.6% during the period under review.
The FBR collected 27 percent increase in the FED from concentrates during this period, FBR’s data added.
