MOSCOW: Russia wants to move towards peace in Ukraine despite its belief that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiyy is not a legitimate leader, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.

Putin says he considers the Ukrainian leadership to be illegitimate because Zelenskiyy’s elected term has expired.
