‘I love Pakistan’ but family to decide, says Watson

Australian all rounder Shane Watson, has been one of the major star showcased at Pakistan Super League (PSL).  However, the all rounder still remain unsure over his visit to Pakistan if his side manages to enter final stages.

"I have to sit down with my family to be able to really work through what the right decision is for my family and me. It is just not my decision. It is my mum's and dad's and wife's as well. We will all sit down to discuss the options," he said, at the post match conference.

The all rounder was instrumental in Quetta Gladiators victory over Karachi Kings last night (Thursday) after he scored a blistering of 90 off 58 deliveries. The Gladiators went on to win the by a mammoth margin of 67 runs, a record for PSL.

Meanwhile, the Australian superstar showered praise on Pakistanis, calling them passionate and loving individuals, and expressed his love for the country.

“I have always loved Pakistan, the Pakistani people has always loved me, in the international cricket as well, they have always been kind to me,” said Watson.

Talking about the ongoing T20 tournament, Watson said that the ‘quality of cricket’ being played is drawing international superstars into the league, and that is the reason why he keeps coming back.

“It is a tough tournament to play; the quality of cricket is as good as anywhere in the world, that has been a major reason why I keep coming back. The PCB has put on a great tournament so we can see by the quality of cricket being played, so that is the reason the caliber of overseas player keep coming,”
