Senate forum laudes Rabbani’s services
ISLAMABAD: The Senate Forum for Policy Research (SFPR) Thursday lauded the services rendered by Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani on completion of his three years tenure.
The SFPR, a think tank comprising of serving and former Senators, passed a resolution recognizing the cooperation extended by the Chairman and the Senate of Pakistan for their cooperation in the performance of our functions during our tenure.
The forum performed its functions to the best of its abilities and afforded its help and cooperation to the Senate in performance of its functions.
The resolution was moved by Ch. Muhammad Anwar Bhinder, member of the SFPR, said a press release.
The Forum also appreciated performance of the Chairman SFPR who always helped and guided in performance of its functions and duties.
We appreciate the services of the Secretary and the staff of the Forum who rendered innumerable services to the Forum.
There is no end to the achievement of the maximum progress in the performance of the function and an institution and there is always scope for further improvement and we hope that the incoming forum shall also be a source of strength and help to the Senate of Pakistan.
The Forum provided policy guidelines on issues of Public importance like the Issues of Forest depletion, Water Crisis in Pakistan, Compendium of Pakistan Laws and others.
The Senate is an institution representing all the Federating Units and the services of the SFPR have always been recognized.
Forum hope and pray that incoming Senate may also serve the Nation and the Federating Units to the best of its capacity and ability.
