After last night's thriller, Gladiators ready to take on Kings today
Quetta Gladiators mentor Sir Viv Richards finally get to smile after his side's thrilling victory against Multan Sultans Wednesday night. Rising high after grabbing the win, the Gladiators would next take on Karachi Kings at Pakistan Super League (PSL) tonight (Thursday). The Gladiators are now placed fourth at the points table, with six points out of equal number of matches, boosting a number of all rounders. This includes Shane Watson, Mohammad Nawaz, Anwar Ali and last night's hero Hasan Khan, who have the ability to mint runs till the end, which proved crucial in their latest victory. Meanwhile, the Kings who tasted their first defeat of the PSL season against Islamabad United in their last match, were missing the explosive hitting powers and leg spin of Shahid Afridi. The team would be eagerly waiting for the return of their superstars, who missed last game due to injury. Afridi's absence also exposed a serious dearth of hitters for the Karachi Kings in the death overs.
