Veteran Pakistani bowler Umar Gul showed the world a glimpse of what made him one of the most devastating bowlers in T20 cricket, after he grabbed six wickets for Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators last night (Wednesday).

However, Gul, who was playing his first match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season three, was unable to take his side to the winning post after heroics from Quetta Gladiators all rounder Hasan Khan, who hit a massive six in the last over, giving his side a much needed victory.

The fast bowler became only the second cricketer to take six wickets in an inning at PSL. Earlier, Karachi Kings all rounder Ravi Bopara claimed a similar feat at the Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament in 2016.

Gul’s figures of 6 for 24 runs in four overs, was celebrated on social media, as players congratulated the senior bowler, who also reached the 200 wickets milestone in T20 cricket. Umar was also awarded the Man of the Match award for his performance as well.
