Speaking on a point of order in the National Assembly, he said the Parliament is a supreme institution as it enjoys more authority and supremacy.

He said everyone should be held accountable irrespective of post and position. The accountability process should not be only parliamentarians and politicians specifics, he said.

He said despite conspiracies former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had delivered in last four years. The Parliament has the prerogative to govern and no other institution could infringe the right of the it. The Parliament is the mother of all institutions, it should have maximum powers.

The stock exchange endured losses upto Rs1,800 billion on the removal of Nawaz Sharif. The popularity of Nawaz Sharif has enhanced manifold after his disqualification.

Meanwhile Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhry Muhammad Birjees Tahir said the Parliament should be respected.

Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for not getting salary from his son, he added. During his speech the quorum was pointed out by Sher Akbar Khan of Jamat-e-Islami.

Deputy Speaker prorogued the session due to lack of quorum.
