Pakistan former captain Shahid Afridi, praised fellow Karachi Kings mate Imad Wasim, for the youngster captaincy in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Afridi joined Karachi Kings in PSL third edition, after his stint with Peshawar Zalmi in the previous two seasons. The veteran informed about his current working with Kings.

“Imad Wasim is a very good captain, he is leading the Karachi Kings franchise well. I advise him that you should make your own decisions, more often, as it is his learning curve.”

“The good thing about Imad is not emotional and seeks advice from senior players including myself, which is a sign of a leader as cricket is a team’s game,” said Afridi.

Regarding his future in cricket, the six hitting machine stated that he is playing out of love for his fans and foundation, and will continue to do so till he is fit. “I would continue to play league cricket, and will only quit if I deemed myself unfit for the game,”

The Karachi Kings would play their fourth game against Multan Sultans on March 2 in Sharjah.
