KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.749 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,279.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.668 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.545 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.440 billion), Silver (PKR 1.449 billion), DJ (PKR 1.272 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.125 billion), Copper (PKR 428.270 million), Platinum (PKR 291.603 million), SP 500 (PKR 267.712 million), Natural Gas (PKR 192.795 million), Japan Equity (PKR 10.917 million) and Brent (PKR 6.340 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.764 were traded.
