KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.328 billion and the number of lots traded at 10,679. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.224 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.728 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.977 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.413 billion), Silver (PKR 594.306 million), DJ (PKR 578.246 million), Natural Gas (PKR 252.693 million), SP 500 (PKR 189.908 million), Japan Equity (PKR 182.643 million), Platinum (PKR 136.837 million), Brent (PKR 26.833 million) and Copper (PKR 23.261 million).
