KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.319 billion and the number of lots traded 9,345.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.692 billion, followed by DJ (PKR 2.638 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.375 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.615 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.412 billion), Silver (PKR 468.862 million), Platinum (PKR 369.062 billion), Copper (PKR 358.718 million), SP 500 (PKR 243.801 million), Natural Gas (PKR 78.090 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 65.830 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 14 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 15.220 million were traded.
