KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 25.566 billion and the number of lots traded at 17,833. Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 12.277 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 6.019 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.122 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.361 billion), DJ (PKR 1.195 billion), Platinum (PKR 767.958 million), SP 500 (PKR 687.355 million), Silver (PKR 546.973 million), Copper (PKR 304.582 million), Natural Gas (PKR 269.757 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 14.311 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 7 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.546 million were traded.
