KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at Rs9.743 billion and the number of lots traded 8,453.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to Rs2.746 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (Rs2.397 billion), currencies through COTS (Rs2.072 billion), Silver (Rs839.864 million), Crude Oil (Rs543.618 million), Platinum (Rs334.061 million), DJ (Rs217.796 million), SP 500 (Rs217.257 million), Natural Gas (Rs194.325 million), Copper (Rs161.295 million) and Japan Equity (Rs10.340 million). In Agricultural commodities, 9 lot of Cotton amounting to Rs8.927 million were traded.
