KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.697 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,437.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.739 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.915 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.913 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.376 billion), Platinum (PKR 514.311 million), DJ (PKR 387.037 million), Silver (PKR 296.464 million), SP 500 (PKR 251.193 million), Natural Gas (PKR 142.269 million), Copper (PKR 135.131million) and Japan equity (PKR 25.565 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 11 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 10.299 million were traded.
