KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.316 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,531.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.071 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.727 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.482 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.218 billion), Silver (PKR 516.074 million), Platinum (PKR 425.176 million), SP 500 (PKR 305,613 million), Natural Gas (PKR 218.714 million), Copper (PKR 163.781 million), DJ (PKR 137.277 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 50.56 million). In Agricultural commodities, 6 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 6.197 million were traded.
