KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.299 billion and the number of lots traded 11,606. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.055 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.936 billion),

NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.308 billion), Copper (PKR 878.091 million), Crude Oil (PKR 633.311 million), Natural Gas (PKR 468.565 million), Platinum (PKR 446.576 million), DJ (PKR 382.934 million), SP500 (PKR 300.455 million), Silver (PKR 203.032 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 86.484 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.553 million were traded.
