KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.737 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,447. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.517 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.150 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.015 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.045 billion), DJ (PKR 702.075 million), Platinum (PKR 498.069 million), Silver (PKR 342.570 million), Copper (PKR 205.153 million), SP 500 (PKR 164.259 million), Natural Gas (PKR 88.088 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 9.010 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.204 million were traded.
