KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.812 billion and the number of lots traded 11,397.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 10.897 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.737 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.477 billion), Silver (PKR 766.933 million), Crude Oil (PKR 652.140 million), Platinum (PKR 409.088 million), DJ (PKR 316.522 million), Natural Gas (PKR 207.209 million), SP500 (PKR 201.457 million) and Copper (PKR 147.058 million). In agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.368 million were traded.
