KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.768 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,442. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.027 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.372 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.290 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.518 billion), Silver (PKR 472.189 million), Platinum (PKR 381.861 million), DJ (PKR 313.008 million), Natural Gas (PKR 262.743 million), Copper (PKR 111.797 million) and SP 500 (PKR 18.206 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.393 million were traded.
