KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.503 billion and the number of lots traded at 15,046.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.602 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.867 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.795 billion), Silver (PKR 897.227 million), DJ (PKR 808.006 million), Platinum (PKR 468.623 million), Copper (PKR 426.410 million), Crude Oil (PKR 415.654 million), Natural Gas (PKR 154.062 million), SP 500 (PKR 58.477 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 9.220 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.940 million were traded.
