'Pakistan's culture should be highlighted in trade fairs, events'

KARACHI: Pakistan's culture should be highlighted in trade fairs and various events held in the countries abroad, United Business Group (UBG) patron in chief and former president of FPCCI S M Muneer said. We will also give suggestions to all associations and chambers of commerce of Pakistan including the government and its institutions that our culture should be spread all over the world and young people world over should get acquainted with Pakistani art and artists.

While speaking at a dinner hosted by Karachi Business Forum & Think Tank president Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui, S M Muneer said I have set up a window in Canada where Pakistani exporters can advertise their products and give their opinion.

He said similar windows can be established in other courtiers of the world to promote Pakistani exports. Referring to FPCCI elections held on Dec 30, 2020, he alleged that the election commission and the current ruling group of businessmen panel conspired and our successful presidential candidate Khalid Tawab lost and Mian Nasser Hyatt Maggo declared as president by adding fake votes.

Mian Zahid Hussain said the business and industrial community of Pakistan united under the leadership of S M Muneer. He said UBG worked hard in the federation election and Khalid Tawab had won but the result was changed.

Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui said he is playing the role of a bridge between the consulates of different countries and national institutions. Farrukh Mazhar, Afif Rashid, Mian Zahid Hussain, President Kati Saleem Alzaman Ahmad Shah, Mirza Akhtiar Baig and Rafiq Rangoonwala also addressed the function. Brigadier Aamir, Brigadier Changezi, Gulzar Feroze and others were also present.
