Romania finance ministry rejects all bids at tender to sell 2026 bonds

  • Debt managers last sold the paper in February at an average accepted yield of 2.30%.
  • They sold about 14.5 billion lei worth of leu currency bills and bonds and 1.25 billion euros of domestic debt this year.

BUCHAREST: Romania's finance ministry rejected all bids at a tender to sell 400 million lei ($97.15 million) of 2026 treasury bonds on Monday, the central bank said.

Debt managers last sold the paper in February at an average accepted yield of 2.30%.

They sold about 14.5 billion lei worth of leu currency bills and bonds and 1.25 billion euros of domestic debt this year.
