LONDON: Benchmark northwest European gasoline margins extended losses on Thursday, falling to a five-week low of about $1.70 a barrel, as stocks on both sides of the Atlantic rose.

Gasoline stocks rose 1.4% to 1.31 million tonnes in the week to Thursday, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.—Reuters
