Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone for a university and a hospital in Hafizabad on Saturday.

The university will be constructed at a cost of four point five billion rupees while the new 400-bed facility District Headquarters Hospital building will cost two billion rupees, Special Assistant to Punjab CM for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said.

Addressing the gathering, the PM said in 2021, people across Punjab including small districts like Hafizabad will get Sehat Insaf Card. He further said even the richest countries in the world do not provide the medical insurance that his government has introduced in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

He said these health cards will provide free treatment up to Rs 1 million to every family. "This will be the first time in the 73-year history of Pakistan that a common man sitting at home will have confidence that if any member of the family falls ill, he will be able to get treatment up to Rs 1 million," the PM said.

The premier continued that due to this, private hospitals will be established in Hafizabad and other areas like it. He said the next goal of the government is to ensure that everyone has a home. He said under the Naya Pakistan Housing project, anyone can build a house by taking out a loan on 5% interest.

Instead of the monthly rent, they will pay back the loan through installments, the PM said.

While referring to the opposition's Pakistan Democratic Movement's 'circus', the PM said these are those people who have looted the nation for 30 years. He said now they are blackmailing him so that the National Accountability Bureau stops its investigations.

They, the PM said, attacked the judiciary and Pakistan's Armed Forces, adding that Nawaz Sharif is speaking the language of India to protect the looted amount. "You can do as many rallies as you want. But I will not spare you until you return the money," PM vowed.
