PM offers to help quake-hit Turkey in every way Pakistan can

Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered his condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people on the loss of precious lives in the powerful earthquake that rocked Turkey’s Aegean resort city of Izmir, and north of the Greek island of Samos on Friday.

At least 25 people died and more than 800 people were injured when an earthquake of 7.0 magnitude off the coast of western Izmir province, was felt in Athens and Istanbul. The quake triggered a mini-tsunami that flooded Izmir and Samos.

In a tweet today, the PM expressed his condolences and said that Pakistan stands with the Turkish people. The PM also said that Pakistan will help Turkey every way they can. "We can never forget the way Turkey stood with us when the devastating earthquake hit Pak & AJK in 2005," the PM said.
