ISLAMABAD: The opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday passed a resolution condemning the worst inflation, unemployment, annihilation of economy, skyrocketing prices of electricity, gas, food and basic necessities. In a meeting of the party's parliamentary committee, the party said that "262 percent" increase in prices of medicine followed by another 32 percent rise is economic terrorism is too much cruel.

The meeting fully endorsed and supported the agenda and objective outlined by the All Parties Conference held under the aegis of Pakistan Democratic Movement to get rid of the vote-robbing imposed government.

It declared the massive public meetings in Gujranwala and Karachi as referendums against the existence of this illegal imposed government. It pledged to play its complete and decisive role in the PDM movement to fulfill the objective of restoring the sanctity of vote under the leadership of the PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif.

The meeting condemns and protests against the illegal raid, breaking and entering, intrusion of privacy of Maryam Nawaz. It termed the act of abducting IG Police Sindh, coercing him to order actions against Maryam Nawaz the worst form of state terrorism and a blatant violation of law and order. The Parliamentary party meeting strongly condemned the arrest and imprisonment of PML-N President and National Assembly Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif. It said that Shehbaz's only crime was that he was the brother of Nawaz Sharif and did not bow down to the wish of betraying his brother.

The PML-N Parliamentary Party while expressed solidarity with the media, announced its support for the countrywide protests for the fulfillment of the media's demands.
