Buzdar invites UAE investors to make investments in Punjab

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has invited the foreign investors to make investment in Punjab to benefit from the conducive business environment, as the investors are being extended every sort of facility.

He said this while talking to the delegation of UAE investors called on him here on Wednesday, which led by Sulaiman Al Badaai. Provincial Minister Finance Hashim Jawan Bakht, Chief Secretary, Chairman PBIT Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Secretary Finance and others were also present.

The CM apprised the delegation about investment-friendly policies and initiatives of the provincial government and stated that all the facilities are provided under one roof. He stated that the procedure of obtaining NoC has been made easy to promote investment.

Sulaiman Al Badaai expressed the desire to invest more in Pakistan, especially in the province of Punjab.

Talking to the former provincial minister of Balochistan Naseebullah Khan Marri and Javed Akhtar Lund MPA, the CM said the Punjab government had started several projects in Balochistan as a goodwill gesture.

He said the mausoleum of Mir Chakar Azam Rind in Okara is being restored and the South Punjab Secretariat has also started working.

In a meeting with president PTI Central Punjab Ejaz Chaudhary and head of good governance committee Col Ejaz Hussain Manhais (retd), the CM said the whole nation is saddened, as some elements are bent upon damaging the national interest for the sake of some temporal stakes.

Ejaz Chaudhary strongly condemned the irreverence of the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam adding that a political party created the ruckus for personal benefit.
