NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling weakened slightly on Monday as demand from energy and merchandising importers exceeded dollar inflows, traders said.

At 0800 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 108.70/90 against the dollar, compared with Friday's close of 108.65/85.
