KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was stable on Monday on the back of a slowdown in dollars demand from importers in sectors like energy, manufacturing and telecoms.

At 0913 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,720/3,730, same level as Friday's close.
