Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) cannot remove PTI’s democratically elected government.

Addressing to media in Multan, the foreign minister said that the Opposition does not have any a magic wand through which it can solve the problems of the people.

“No conspiracy against the people of Pakistan will succeed,” he said while referring to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's recent speech at the Gujranwala.

"Opposition were given a chance in the past to solve people's problems," he said.

He said opposition alliance is temporary as they are not on the same page. “PDM neither has one flag, nor leader, or a manifesto. It is an un-natural alliance because they are not the same page.”

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government gave free hand to the opposition for the rally.

While referring to poor economic policies of past government, he said, “People do not blame the government's two-year performance for inflation.”

Commenting on Pakistan armed forces, Shah Mahmood said Pakistan army played a key role in eliminating terrorism from the country.

“If terrorism had not been defeated, you would have not been holding rallies freely,” he concluded.
