Maryam to reach Karachi today for PDM meeting

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz will reach Karachi on Sunday (today) to participate in the 2nd public meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) against the PTI government there.

Maryam will leave Lahore on Sunday morning and land at Jinnah International Airport, where her party activists would receive her. She would stay at a hotel in Karachi from where she would reach the venue of public meeting, leading a rally. In this regard, the PML-N Sindh has finalized necessary arrangements, sources in the party said.

Maryam is also expected to visit the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

It may be added that Maryam also spoke in Punjabi language in Gujranwala on Friday. In her short speech, she said they were accused of being a ‘Sicilian Mafia’ but the truth had been revealed as who was the real mafia that first created shortage of food items and then increase their prices. She also asked the people whether to give an NRO to Imran Khan.

Moreover, the PML-N has called “Youth Convention” in Lahore on Wednesday (October 21) which would be addressed by Maryam Nawaz besides the PML-N supremo and other party leaders.
