LHC informed: Opposition parties' workers not arrested

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday disposed of some identical petitions of PML-N workers after Advocate General Punjab told the court that the government had neither arrested the workers nor stopped the opposition from holding public meeting in Gujranwala.

The law officer however said if opposition party workers would take the law in hand then government would deal with them in accordance with law. The petitioners contended that the government was arresting the PML-N workers under Infection Disease Ordinance 2020 and it had erected hurdles on the way to Guranwala.
