Kenyan shilling weakens slightly against the dollar

NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling weakened slightly on Friday as demand from merchandising importers exceeded dollar inflows from horticulture exports and remittances from abroad, traders said.

At 0800 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 108.65/85 against the dollar, compared with Thursday's close of 108.60/80.
