'Rights of urban Sindh': MQM-P takes out Hyderabad March

HYDERABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) in connection with ongoing province-wide protest campaign for the "rights of urban Sindh", took out Hyderabad March on Sunday for the rights of the Hyderabad and other urban centres of the province.

The Hyderabad March started from Hotel City gate and after passing through different areas ended at station road where MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui addressing the attendees of the March said that today's Hyderabad March had destroy all the plans and conspiracies against MQM. He said that the voice of muhajirs could not be suppressed. He said that we would go up to the last line for the rights and identity of muhajirs. He said that we kept the party intact and made it to stand out. He said that feudal and landlords made the Sindhi people their servants. He said that we would not let the feudal rulers to escape.

He said that we are proud that our national language and our mother tongue is Urdu. He said that Urdu language made Pakistan and connected every country man. He said that it was a decisive moment and claimed that the opportunity was coming to change the country. He said that today people of Hyderabad proved that they are descendants of creators of Pakistan. He said that our ancestors made the Pakistan and we were going to save Pakistan.

Addressing MQM leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that people who looted the country now had become brothers to each other. He said Sindh province has been divided in two nations Sindhi and Urdu speaking. He questioned the PPP that they were taking out rally in Karachi against which government. He underlined the need of creation of new provinces in the country. MQM leader Amir Khan said that it was historical fact that PPP broke the country.
