A day after being expelled from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Jalil Ahmed Sharaqpuri on Friday said that Nawaz Sharif's policy of confrontation is not in Pakistan’s interest.

On Thursday, PML-N expelled its five MPAs for meeting Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar without the permission of its leadership. PML-N expelled Nishat Ahmed Daha and Faisal Niazi from Khanewal, Sharaqpuri from Sheikhupura, Muhammad Ghiasuddin from Narowal and Ashraf Ansari from Gujranwala.

In a presser today, Sharaqpuri said he has not received any notice from the party and only heard it on media. He continued that is not illegal to meet the Punjab CM regarding the work of the constituency. "In which party is it written that you cannot meet the opposing party?" he asked.

Now even I can ask mujhe kyun nikala (Why was I removed), Sharaqpuri said. He further said PML-N's conflict policy will not reduce inflation.
