Coronavirus claims six more lives taking death toll to 6,457 across country

(Karachi) At least six people died of coronavirus during the last 24 hours across the country, according to National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC). The total number of casualties from the disease has reached 6,457.

As per details, 694 new COVID-19 cases have been reported while the active cases reached 8,205. At least 295,613 patients recovered from the virus across the country. The total count of infections reported in Pakistan was 310,275.

Meanwhile, 36,468 tests have been conducted in 24 hours while 924 patients are admitted to 735 hospitals. Of them, condition of 106 patients is critical.

The most number of cases were reported in Sindh with 134,000 patients followed by Punjab with more than 98,000 cases. Similarly, 37, 357 coronavirus cases surfaced in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 16, 162 in Islamabad and 14,394 in Balochistan.
