PAL new office at GB to serve as hub of literary activities: Irfan Siddiqui  

He was speaking during a meeting with Chief Minister of GB Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman who called on him at the division.

Irfan Siddiqui said the objective behind expanding PAL’s activities to the northern areas is to promote the literary endeavours of local literary persons and encourage them.

He said the scope of PAL’s activities was limited to the federal and four provincial capitals of the country for the last 40 years but now more offices of academy were being established at Multan, Dadu, Muzaffarabad and FATA which was a landmark initiative.

Irfan Siddiqui also thanked Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman for providing land to establish PAL’s office and hoped its construction would start within two months.

Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman thanked Irfan Siddiqui for establishing PAL office at GB and assured his full cooperation in this regard.
