Three civilians were injured on Thursday after Indian forces opened unprovoked fire across the Line of Control (LoC).

In a press release, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Indian troops again targetted civilian population in Bedori sector along LoC. "Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to Indian firing," ISPR said.

On Wednesday, Indian forces initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation in Bedori sector in which resident of District Chakwal, Havaldar Liaqat, age 39 years embraced shahadat.

"Pakistan Army responded effectively. Reports of heavy losses on enemy in terms of men and material," the army's media wing said.

Earlier, Army troops shot down an Indian spying quadcopter in Chakothi sector along LoC. The quadcopter had intruded 500 meters on Pakistan’s side, ISPR said.

This is the 11 time that Pakistan Army has shot down India's quadcopter.
