LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Tuesday and apprised him about two-year performance of the PTI-led Punjab government, matters concerning South Punjab Secretariat, governance issues and other important provincial affairs, said sources.

The sources claimed that the premier asked the CM to provide maximum relief to the masses.

The CM also apprised the premier about administrative and political affairs of the province. The local bodies' elections and party relations with allied parties were also discussed, the sources added.

Later, the premier, while chairing a meeting of the Ravi River Urban Development Authority, called for early completion of Ravi River Front Urban Development Project besides ensuring high international construction standards, environmental protection and permanently solving issues of water scarcity in Lahore. The PM welcomed interest of foreign investment companies in the project and said this project would prove a master piece for the residents of Lahore and overseas Pakistanis. He also directed for monitoring of the project on daily basis and overcoming administrative hurdles.
